Clearing the bases

New York’s Jason Isringhausen underwent a trans-bronchial biopsy Friday and the results probably will be available Monday or Tuesday. The 24-year-old pitcher was diagnosed with tuberculosis on Thursday. Every Mets player and their families will be tested for tuberculosis. … The Marlins placed pitcher Al Leiter on the 15-day disabled list and recalled right-hander Rob Stanifur from Charlotte. Leiter has a bone bruise on his right knee and is expected to be out two to three weeks.
