Barbershop Quartets Slate Competition

Barbershop quartets from several states will compete here today, with competitors vying for a trip to an international contest later this year.

Choruses and four-part harmonizers from Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon and Canada will compete at Lake City High School, 6160 Ramsey Road.

Chorus competition begins at 10 a.m., and quartets compete at 1 p.m.

All events are open to the public. Tickets are $7 for the contests and $10 for the evening Show of Champions.
