Montanan Tops Aerials

World Championships silver medalist Eric Bergoust became the second skier from Missoula in 24 hours to win a national ski title when he took the aerials competition.

On the final day of the U.S. Freestyle Championships at Sugar Loaf-USA, Bergoust cleanly landed his final triple-trick jump to finish with 239.39 points for his two jumps. Skiers from Park City, Utah, were second and third. Joe Pack had a 227.33, and Todd Loveless a 206.33.
