Volunteer Recruitment Picnic For Sandpoint Festival This Week

The Festival at Sandpoint will host its annual volunteer recruitment party on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lakeview Park.

Each year the festival rounds up volunteers to usher, take tickets, clean up and decorate for its mainstage summer concerts. It takes several hundred volunteers to put on the shows.

Those who want to help and learn more about the volunteer posts can attend the picnic. The festival will provide food, drinks and music.

Concerts run from July 30 to Aug. 3. There will be a special pre-season reggae concert July 19. For more information contact Carol at the festival office at 265-4554.
