3.6 Magnitude Earthquake Felt On Bainbridge Island
A small earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.6 was felt Thursday evening on Bainbridge Island west of here. No damage was reported.
The quake occurred roughly beneath the southern tip of the island, scientists at the University of Washington said.
They said it appeared to be the latest aftershock from a 4.9 quake that was felt throughout much of the Puget Sound region on June 23.
