Bowdish Students Moving Out

The Central Valley School Board on Monday decided to send Bowdish Junior High students to North Pines Junior High and University High School next year.

Bowdish will undergo renovation during the ‘97-‘98 school year.

Seventh- and eighth-graders will move to North Pines, where portables will be necessary to help house the students. Ninth-graders will go to U-Hi, where they will meld into the four-period day, coming to the district’s high schools in the fall.

The board discussed progress on the four-period day and members agreed that the stipulations laid out last summer for the plan were being met. No vote was taken. , DataTimes
