Kansas Remains No. 1

Kansas remained the only unbeaten Division I men’s basketball team and the unanimous No. 1 pick in the latest Associated Press poll, while Wake Forest moved back to No. 2.

The Jayhawks (20-0) received all 70 first-place votes and 1,750 points from the national media panel. Kentucky was third, Utah moved up one spot to fourth and Maryland jumped two spots to fifth. Minnesota was sixth, followed by Clemson, Cincinnati, Louisville and Arizona.

Connecticut (18-0), the only unbeaten Division I women’s team, remained an overwhelming choice for No. 1 in the AP poll with 37 of 41 first-place votes and 1,021 points.

Old Dominion (17-1) remained No. 2 and Stanford No. 3.
