Bridge Reopens After Water Damage

From Staff And Wire Reports

The Warren Avenue Bridge on Washington 303 reopened to traffic on Monday afternoon, four days after heavy rain washed away part of the slope supporting the bridge pier.

The state Department of Transportation hired a Seattle contractor to make emergency repairs.

The Scarsella Brothers worked through the weekend building up the slope with rocks and fast-setting concrete to support a pier footing at the north end of the bridge.
