Mead Turns On Defense To Stop Cv

John Lindow hit 8 of 10 shots and the Mead defense dominated the second half as the Panthers rolled to a 54-38 victory over Central Valley in a Greater Spokane League boys basketball game at Mead on Friday night.

CV (2-2, 3-5) battled inside for a number of baskets early, leading 27-22 before Mead (2-2, 4-4) scored the final seven points of the half to go up 29-27.

In the second half, the Panthers held the Bears to 11 points.

Lindow finished with 18 points.
