Italy’s Panzanini Wins Again

Italy’s Sabina Panzanini earned her second World Cup victory of the season, beating teammate Deborah Compagnoni and Austrian Anita Wachter in a giant slalom. Panzanini completed the two runs in 2 minutes, 34.74 seconds. Compagnoni, the defending Olympic and world giant slalom champion, and Wachter tied for second at 2:34.82.
