Train Conductor’s Death Investigated

From Staff And Wire Reports

Investigators are still trying to determine how a career Union Pacific employee was killed in a train accident south of Boise.

An autopsy was performed on William Koho, 55, of Nampa, the conductor killed Friday night when he was struck by freight cars switching at a lumber yard.

It was unclear whether Koho fell between two cars or fell from a car. A conductor may either walk alongside a train or ride on it during a switching maneuver.
