Dear Heloise: My hint may not be of interest to many people, but if they have soft, sensitive skin like mine, they may appreciate it!

As soon as I purchase any shirts, blouses or jackets, I carefully remove the tags from the neck and stitch them into a side seam so I have laundering and care directions.

Besides, it might save someone the embarrassment of having a stranger reach forward in church, theater, etc. and tuck it in for you! It happened to me! Once!

Also, if your blouse is sheer, the tag shows through and looks icky. - Grace Steffel, Defiance, Ohio We have received so many letters with complaints about the tags and labels attached at the neck area.
