Man Uses Knife To Rob Bookstore

A man armed with a knife robbed a Spokane Valley adult bookstore Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies said.

The man entered Ms. Kitty’s, 6311 E. Sprague, about noon and browsed for about five minutes before pulling out a red pocketknife and threatening the clerk, deputies said.

He ran out the back door with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Deputies are searching for the man, described as Asian, in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds with dark hair tied in a ponytail. He may have had a mustache and was wearing black jeans and a dark long-sleeved shirt, deputies said.
