Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I read your column every day. During a recent hospital stay I received many get-well cards with address labels on the envelopes.

In order to make my recuperating days go by faster, I decided to update a new listing of the numbers I use frequently. Whenever possible, I used the updated labels and also cut out most of the return addresses and - presto - rewriting the phone book was made simpler and also occupied my time.

My friends thought this was an excellent idea. - Norma Silverman, Rochester, N.Y.

Hospital time can be boring. You sure put it to good use. Glad you are better. - Heloise xxxx
