Cheney’s Pence Stands Two Behind In Portland

Todd Pence of Cheney shot a 2-under-par 70 to tie for fifth place, two shots off the pace, after two rounds of the Portland Invitational at Pumpkin Ridge in North Plains, Ore.

Tom Gillis of Lake Orion, Mich., and Chris Endres of Phoenix share the lead at 7-under 136.

Gillis shot a 4-under 67, Endres a 68. Both played on the Ghost Creek course, which yielded lower scores than the Witch Hollow layout. Edres carded six birdies, Gillis five.
