Leslie Leads Los Angeles

Lisa Leslie made a 3-pointer in the second overtime and had a key rebound in the final seconds as the visiting Los Angeles Sparks beat the Cleveland Rockers 87-84 on Thursday night in the WNBA.

Leslie, who finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds, hit the 3-pointer with 3:02 remaining to give Los Angeles a 79-75 lead in the league’s first double-overtime game.

Tamecka Dixon, who made a layup with 2.6 seconds left in regulation to tie it at 68, led Los Angeles (10-12) with 23 points. Eva Nemcova led Cleveland (11-10) with 22 points.
