Ivanisevic Ousted In Atp

Unseeded Jan Siemerink of the Netherlands knocked off third-ranked Goren Ivanisevic of Croatia in the biggest upset of the week at the $2.3 million ATP Championship.

Siemerink took 1 hour, 13 minutes to beat Ivanisevic 6-4, 6-4 to advance to today’s quarterfinals.

The other quarterfinalists are Pete Sampras, Michael Chang, Thomas Muster, Gustavo Kuerten, Yevgeny Kafelnikov, Albert Costa and Sergi Bruguera.
