Hints From Heloise
Dear Heloise: It’s lemonade time! Here’s an idea that our 7-year-old daughter, Krystyna, came up with to serve lemonade to her family of eight and our neighbor’s children.
Take those foam cups and put them in a muffin tin. It keeps the cups from tumbling over with the ice inside and you can pour the lemonade fresh for everyone at the same time.
She also puts names on the cups before she places them in the muffin tin, and then passes them out to all 11 without a single child trying to get the first one.
Later we thought it would work for church potlucks. And, with a little spray paint for color, it’s a great way to recycle old muffin tins. - Jeannine Gatto, Universal City, Texas
