Hunter Education Classes Set For Signup
Hunters interested in bagging game next fall should be thinking about the necessary courses now, game managers suggest.
The Idaho Fish and Game Department is offering a hunter education and registration day today, from noon to 8 p.m. at its regional office on Kathleen Avenue.
Dates for hunter education courses - including archery education for first-time bow hunters - have been set and hunters can sign up for courses beginning today.
The courses cover safety, wildlife management, laws and regulations, survival and first aid.
Hunting licenses, tags and stamps can be purchased by people 12 and older who have completed their course requirements.
