Highway 21 Stretch Reopened To Traffic

A section of Idaho 21 between Lowman and Stanley that was closed by avalanches in December has been reopened to traffic.

The Idaho Transportation Department said the nine-mile section between Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit opened at about noon Monday.

Although it is clear to regular traffic, the agency cautions motorists to watch for falling rocks.
