Dad Charged With Killing 3-Year-Old

A Helena man was charged Thursday with killing his 3-year-old daughter.

Curtis Christianson, 28, allegedly killed Taylor Salley Christianson by striking her in the abdomen.

Police Chief Troy McGee said officers responded to an emergency call on Sept. 6 at Christianson’s house and found the child dead.

Acting Justice of the Peace Nick Jacques set bail at $100,000 and ordered Christianson to appear for a preliminary hearing Oct. 11.

He remained in the Lewis and Clark County jail.
