Actor Liam Neeson Undergoes Operation

Actor Liam Neeson underwent surgery Monday to remove what doctors called a painful “intestinal blockage.” They refused to be more specific but said the condition was not life-threatening.

Neeson was brought to Padua’s main hospital complex after falling ill late Sunday at the Venice Film Festival, said Barbara Bozzi, a spokeswoman for Warner Bros.
