Coeur D’Alene Writers Are Winners In Contest

Members of the Coeur d’Alene Chapter of the Idaho Writer’s League were honored recently for their efforts in two writing contests sponsored by the state organization of the Idaho Writers League.

Lifetime achievement awards were given to members Marion Lillie, chosen for the Writer of the Year Award, and Nadine Russell Boss, selected as the Idaho Poet of the Year.

Other winners and categories include: Marilyn Wagenius; Light Verse (open title), first honorable mention; (assigned title), first place; Serious Verse (open title), second place; (assigned title), third place; Non-fiction Essay (assigned title), third honorable mention; Short Humor (open title), first place; Adult Fiction (open title), first honorable mention.

Rosemary Henrickson; Serious Verse (open title), first honorable mention; and Non-fiction Essay (assigned title), first place.
