Air Pollution Reports

A total of 16 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Oct. 13 and Oct. 19.

The most common complaint, smoke/odor from solid fuel burning device, was reported six times.

Oct. 13

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device, such as a wood stove or fireplace, reported at 14222 N. Tormey Road at 3:52 p.m.

Oct. 14

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device reported at 1316 W. Dalke at 8:55 a.m.

Oct. 15

Dust from unpaved road reported at Wayside Precinct/Wildrose Road.

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device reported at 4910 E. Sixth at 12:27 p.m.

Soil remediation reported at URM Site at 4:41 p.m.

Oct. 16

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device reported at 3501 W. 6th at 8:30 a.m.

Removal of contaminated soil reported at URM Site at 10:55 a.m.

Open fire reported at 517 S. Stevens, Deer Park at 11 a.m.

Dust from unpaved road reported at Spokane Area at 12:20 p.m.

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device reported at 8900 S. Mullen Hill Road No. 43 at 10:26 a.m.

Smoke/odors from a solid fuel burning device reported at 6918 E. 10th at 10:10 p.m.

Oct. 18

Odors from chemicals reported at 600 block N. Napa at 11:01 a.m.

Odors from asphalt plant reported at Koch Asphalt at 11:15 a.m.

Oct. 19

Open fire reported at 18814 S. Lewis Drive, Cheney at 5:50 p.m.

Open fire reported at 13900 block S. Finney at 10:39 p.m.
