UW Welcomes 4,050 To Freshman Class
The largest freshman class in nearly 30 years was on hand Monday as classes started at the University of Washington.
University officials said the freshman class numbers about 4,050, which is up by 350 students over the freshman class enrollment last fall at the Seattle campus.
Washington State University has 2,300 new freshmen on the Pullman campus this year, down more than 200 students from last fall.
Classes at WSU-Pullman started Aug. 26.
