Hot Dogs Chill Traffic In Bronx

Newsday

Police cars and highway patrol cruisers couldn’t stop a pack of lust-struck canines chasing a female dog through the Bronx Friday morning, causing a three-car accident and closing an expressway during rush hour.

“Those dogs had one thing on their mind,” said Jeff Frace, a spokesman for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Manhattan.

Two people suffered minor injuries in the accident, caused when one of the dogs darted into traffic.
