Pope Prepares For Visit To Poland In May

Pope John Paul II will make his seventh visit to his native Poland next spring.

He will appear at the International Eucharistic Congress May 25-June 1 in Wroclaw, papal nuncio Archbishop Jozef Kowalczyk said.

John Paul also will visit Gniezno to mark the 1,000th anniversary of the death of Poland’s patron saint, St. Adalbert.
