Middle Tennessee State Coach Joins Idaho As Davis’ Assistant
Colleges
Middle Tennessee State basketball coach David Farrar has been named as Kermit Davis’ assistant for the University of Idaho men’s team.
Farrar headed up the Middle Tennessee team for five seasons from 1991 to 1996. He compiled a 61-73 record for the Blue Raiders. That included a record of 16-11 in his first season and a 15-12 mark last year.
“I think Dave is as well thought of as any guy in the country from a coaching standpoint,” Davis said.
Davis and Farrar first became acquainted when Farrar was a fulltime assistant at Mississippi State and Davis was a graduate assistant coach.
