What A Ham
Want to ham it up for Easter with as little effort as possible? Try the honey-cured, hickory-smoked, spiralsliced hams from Ronquille’s in Spokane.
Dale and Debbie Ronquille, who originally hail from Texas, glaze their bone-in hams with honey and seven spices (but less salt than usual). The hams come completely cooked and can be served cold, at room temperature or heated.
And if you’re wondering what to do with the bone, there’s always soup.
Price: $5.19 a pound (most hams are 7-9 pounds).
Available: Ronquille’s Market & Restaurant, 2904 E. Sprague (535-0749). One day’s notice required for ham orders; local delivery and nationwide shipping available.
