Cash Taken From Man While Waiting For Bus

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man waiting for his sister at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Spokane was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday, police reported.

The 29-year-old man, whose identity was withheld, told police he was outside the station about 3:30 a.m. smoking a cigarette when three men and a woman approached him.

One of the men pointed a handgun at the victim’s face, police spokesman Dick Cottam said.

The three men then took cash and other items from the victim’s pockets while the woman stood nearby. They then walked away.

Police searched the area but found no suspects, Cottam reported.
