Reporter Tom Grant of KREM-TV in Spokane is among the winners of the 1995 George Polk Awards for Excellence in Journalism.
Grant won the local television reporting category for his investigation into the alleged child sex ring in Wenatchee.
His reports raised questions about the Wenatchee police investigation into the sex abuse charges.
Winners, chosen by a faculty-alumni committee at Long Island University, were announced Sunday. They will receive the awards April 17 in New York City.
