Mr. And Mrs. Scher Spokane

John J. “Jack” and Jeanne G. “Mitzi” Scher, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering at the home of their daughter from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Hosting the event will be their children: Karen J. Hicks, Nine Mile Falls; Steven B. Scher, Spokane; and G. Michael Scher, Seattle.

The couple were married June 17, 1946, in Spokane. They have one grandchild.
