Two Suspects Being Held In Disappearance Of Man

Associated Press

Two suspects in the disappearance of a Ririe man are being held in the Bonneville County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond pending March 5 preliminary hearings.

Michael Grimes, 43, and Joe Edward Gordon, 39, both of Laurel, Mont., are charged with grand theft. Police say they were driving a car owned by Michael Fox, 52, when they were arrested Feb. 8 in Billings, Mont.

Fox has been missing since about 9 p.m. on Feb. 3, when he was last seen by a clerk at a gas station in Idaho Falls in the company of Grimes and Gordon, authorities said. Gordon has talked with authorities, but Grimes has not been interviewed because he asked for an attorney, Sheriff’s Sgt. Paul Wilde said.
