Reardan Stops Ach For Crown
Prep basketball
Except for a game against Almira/Coulee-Hartline, the Reardan boys have been perfect for the past eight weeks.
Reardan corrected the slip-up on Thursday. Robb Soliday made 10 of 10 from the foul line during a 28-point fourth quarter to guide the fourth-ranked Indians over the second-ranked Warriors 63-49 in the Bi-County League Tournament championship at Reardan.
Reardan (19-2) has won 14 of 15 games since late December, the exception being a 60-48 league loss to ACH (17-3).
Soliday added six assists, Travis Titchenal scored 10 first-quarter points, and Nathan Graham, Scott Eller and James Kiger had seven rebounds apiece for Reardan. Cameron Carstensen had three 3-pointers for ACH.
Reardan, advancing to the District 7-B Tournament at Spokane Falls Community College as the top seed, opens at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday against Panorama No. 4 Northwest Christian. Second-seeded ACH plays Panorama No. 3 Selkirk at 6 on Monday.
