Road Improvements On Council Agenda

A public hearing on proposed improvements to Pleasantview Road and Fifth Avenue is on the agenda of the Post Falls City Council tonight.

The improvements would be financed through a local improvement district that would tax the businesses in the area of the construction.

Also on the agenda are the annual audit of Post Falls city finances and annexation agreements for development along Mullan Avenue west of Syringa Street. Ten acres of the property, owned by Schneidmiller Brothers Inc., is for a Kootenai Medical Center office building. The other 26 acres are zoned commercial and high-density residential.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Post Falls City Council chambers.
