‘Peanuts’ Tops New Batch Of Kids’ Videos
It’s been more than a month now, and those holiday videos for the young ones are getting to be old stuff. But here comes a fresh batch.
“Peanuts” distributors offer a Valentine’s Day promotion of five volumes. Two are double features: “Charlie Brown’s All-Stars” / “It’s Spring Training, Charlie Brown” and “Life’s a Circus, Charlie Brown” / “Snoopy’s Getting Married.” The three singles are “It’s the Girl in the Red Truck, Charlie Brown,” “A Charlie Brown Celebration” and “It’s Arbor Day, Charlie Brown.” The last one is priced at $9.95. “Red Truck” is also $9.95. All the others are priced at $12.95.
“The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Karate Club: The White Ranger Kata,” with Tommy teaching strength, wisdom, safety and discipline (50 minutes, $12.95).
“Kathie Lee’s Rock ‘N’ Tots Cafe” adds two titles, a Western hoedown, “Rockin’ Roundup,” and a surprise party, “Kathie Lee’s Big Surprise” (each 30 minutes, $12.95).
“Hip Hop for Kids,” a 30-minute dance tape from Jumping Fish Productions, is $14.95 (1-800-724-6986).
“Cinderella … Frozen in Time” stars Olympian skaters Dorothy Hamill and Andrew Naylor (60 minutes, $12.98) and comes from Sony Wonder, as does “Treasure Island” (48 minutes, $12.98).
“The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat” adds three titles to its BMG Video collection: “Space Time Twister” “Jailhouse Shock” and “The Petrified Cheese” (each 30 minutes, $12.98).
