Last Quintuplet Leaves Sacred Heart

From Staff And Wire Reports

The last of the Bowman quintuplets left Sacred Heart Medical Center on Thursday.

Clint Eugene - the only boy among the five babies born June 20 - weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces, when he was released from the hospital.

Clint, like his four sisters, had been in the neonatal intensive care unit since his birth. They are believed to be the first live quintuplets born in the state.

Parents Roger and Joyce Bowman live in Richland. The girls are Randi, Rachel, Sierra and Danielle.

The babies were conceived using in vitro fertilization techniques and were born after 30 weeks in the womb. They weighed between 1 and 3 pounds.

The family also has a 6-year-old son, Matthew. , DataTimes
