Bruins Ink Cheveldae

Free agent Tim Cheveldae has signed a one-year contract with the Boston Bruins.

Cheveldae, who played with the Winnipeg Jets last season, was signed without compensation. He was 8-18-3 with the Jets in 1995-96, with a 3.93 goals against average. His career record is 149-135-37, with a 3.49 goals against average.
