Spokane Man Dies When Vehicle Goes Over Mount Spokane Road
A Spokane man was killed Saturday afternoon when his vehicle ran off the road and tumbled down an embankment in Mount Spokane State Park.
Daniel Paul King, 25, died of a broken neck and massive internal injuries, the Washington State Patrol said. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Troopers said King lost control of the white and blue, 1975 Chevy Blazer he was driving about 1:19 p.m. King did not make a left-hand curve on state Highway 206 about four miles north of Kirk’s Lodge.
The truck hit a dirt embankment on the right side of the highway, careened back across the road and rolled 45 feet down a bank, trooper said.
King was ejected when the truck hit a tree at the bottom, troopers said. , DataTimes
