Karla Harris Has Quilt Accepted Into Contest

Karla Harris, Hope, Idaho, was recently selected as one of 236 northwest quiltmakers to have quilts accepted as entries into the 1996 Great Pacific Northwest Quilt Show held at the Seattle Center last month.

The contest, featuring Harris’ entries, “Flocking Together,” and “Seed Parachutes,” was presented by the Association of Pacific Northwest Quilters and is the only non-profit juried and judged exhibit of its kind in the Northwest.

Judges awarded $20,000 in cash and prizes in nine different categories, with a best of show and viewer’s choice award.
