You’re in Riverfront Park on a hot August day, and you’re working up a powerful thirst, and a sno-cone just won’t cut it?

A short walk across the Howard Street bridge, in the Spokane MarketPlace at the park’s north entrance, is the natural solution: The Raw Deal juice bar.

Owner Linda McClain serves up everything from vegetable juice combos to a special fresh-squeezed lemonade to Ike’s Fruzzie (pictured here), a rich, dairy-free banana and pineapple smoothie.

Price: $1-$2.75 for 14- and 20-ounce drinks.

Available: Through September at the Spokane MarketPlace in Riverfront Park (Wednesday/Friday/ Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
