Rain Dampens Lady Golfers’ Outings

Weather limited play for ladies club golf members last week.

Among those who competed:

Danice Deckard continued to lead the Painted Hills group, shooting 43 in A flight, including a birdie on the fifth hole.

Newcomer Penne Parsons gave her a run with a 49 in the no-handicap category.

Other low gross leaders were Betty Snow at 51 in B flight, Audrey Kreuziger with 57 in C flight and Cindee Corrick with 64 in D flight.

Net winners were Ruth Matthis in A and Ottlie Schreiner in D with 33s, Nancy Mullenix with 35 in B flight and Idel Choate with 31 in C flight. Judy Lee had a chip-in on the sixth hole.

Valley View Ladies Club was led by Terry Clayton with an overall score of 41.

Net winners were Tina Marie Reger at 29 in A flight, Kay Pritzl with 33 in B flight, and Mary Sjostrom with 35 in C flight.

No-handicap leader once more was Dolores LaLiberte with a gross 52.
