Toyota To Recall 612,000 Cars
Toyota is voluntarily recalling 612,000 cars worldwide, its largest recall in 25 years, to fix a faulty suspension part.
Except for 34,100 Lexus GS300s, most of the cars affected were sold in Japan.
The problem involves excessive wear on a ball joint socket that helps connect the steering system to the lower front suspension arm. The wear can allow a ball joint to loosen, affecting handling and steering.
