Red Deer Coach Resigns
Wayne Simpson, general manager of the Red Deer Rebels, announced coach Peter Arnholt has resigned from his position with the Western Hockey League team.
“It was mutually agreed upon by both Peter and myself that this was the best for both sides,” Simpson said.
Arnholt has a 246-236-21 record in seven seasons as a WHL coach.
He has served as the only coach in Rebels’ history, compiling an 83-126-7 career and two postseason berths in three years.
