Madison Square Garden is the frontrunner to stage a proposed heavyweight fight between Riddick Bowe and Mike Tyson, according to Bowe’s manager.

Rock Newman, the manager for Bowe, said he is aiming to hold the bout between October 1995 and June 1996.

The Ottawa Rough Riders were rescued from termination when Ontario Court justice James Chadwick approved a plan to sell the bankrupt CFL team to Chicago sports entrepreneur Horn Chen.
