Justin Williams’ three-run home run highlighted a nine-run first inning that started Maxwell House to a 13-2, five-inning rout of Job Quest in American Legion baseball Tuesday night at Shadle Park’s Al K. Jackson Field.

Paul MacLendon had three hits, including a two-run single that highlighted a decisive three-run second inning, as Spokane Athletic Supply beat Key Bank 4-1 at Jackson.

At Gonzaga University, Washington Trust Bank beat Kimmel 9-4 in the regularly scheduled game and Kimmel took the completion of a June 16 game 9-8 in nine innings.

Matt Comfort had a two-run triple and Steve Gleason a two-run double in a decisive five-run sixth for WTB’s win. Brian Munhall singled in Brandon Molett, who opened the bottom of the ninth with a double, for Kimmel’s win.

Steve Sander, Brad Nollmeyer and Brett Haiar had three RBIs each as Olympic Sports beat Hillyard 16-6 in six at Central Valley.
