Compiled From Wire Services

A spring snowstorm at the entry to Idaho’s sweeping Stanley Basin caused organizers to end the fourth stage of the PowerBar International Women’s Challenge Cycling Race just past midway between Stanley and Ketchum.

Rebecca Bailey, riding for Team Switzerland-Lea Electric, claimed the abbreviated race, finishing the 32.5 miles at the top of 8,700-foot Galena Summit in 1:53:2. The race which began in Stanley, was scheduled for 61 miles.
