O’Grady Expected Sometime This Week

Air Force Capt. Scott O’Grady will probably return to his hometown sometime this week. But the Pentagon isn’t ready to say when.

O’Grady, the F-16 pilot shot down over Bosnia and rescued six days later, was released from a hospital over the weekend.

Maj. Chris Geisel, an Air Force spokesman, said O’Grady was disappointed he had to cancel his visit to Spokane last week.

Geisel said it was likely, although not certain, the 29-yearold pilot would be able to make the trip later this week.
