NEW FACES:
Tom Krushensky has joined Washington Trust Bank as assistant vice president and investment officer for the Trust and Investment Service Division. Krushensky, who has several years of experience as a certified financial planner and registered investment adviser, will serve clients throughout Central Washington from the bank’s Wenatchee office. Three new associates have joined the Spokane General Office of New York Life:
Fran Cook specializes in business planning and executive compensation. Her markets are Eastern and Central Washington.
Jim King specializes in small business benefit packages and personal retirement planning in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
Mike Reeder will handle personal retirement planning and small business marketing.
Gerald Ridley has joined Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty in Coeur d’Alene. Ridley is a retired American Airlines captain with 21 years of experience.
AXAMA Corp. has added the following people to its management team:
Frederick D. Brown has been appointed executive vice president and will be responsible for the administrative and financial management of the company. Brown, who has 25 years of experience in business management, finance and sales, most recently served as a management consultant to four corporations.
Bear Stauss was hired as chief operations officer and director of foreign relations. He will oversee the production, programming and CAD conversion departments. Strauss has worked in various government projects in the Western United States.
Dan Dibler has been promoted to conversion services manager. Dibler, who has 17 years of experience in the computer services industry, will manage nine CAD conversion operators and handle conversion project bidding.
Richard Schoen, who has 19 years of experience in mechanical engineering, design, production and inventory management, has joined the production staff.
Mike Binder, who has more than 10 years of experience in CAD programming management and software engineering, has joined the programming staff.
Chad Dokken has joined the Conversion Department staff as a CAD conversion specialist. Dokken earned an associate degree in CAD drafting from ITT Technical Institute.
Anne Comstock has joined Tomlinson Mortgage Inc. in Coeur d’Alene as a mortgage loan officer. Comstock has been in mortgage lending for more than three years and previously worked in banking, international finance and the clothing industry as a national sales manager and production manager for an international designer.
Dana Dixon has been named general manager of Co-op Supply Inc., replacing LeRoy Foster, who retired in March. Dixon, a Washington State University graduate and Carnation, Wash., resident, most recently was general manager of Grange Supply Inc. in Issaquah, Wash.
STARTING UP:
Attorney Kevin J. Waite has opened an office for the general practice of law at 2020 Lakewood Drive, Suite 302, Coeur d’Alene. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School, he practiced law for several years at a Chicago law firm and was a sole practitioner in Wisconsin before moving to Idaho. His practice includes wills and estate planning, probate, divorce, business transactions, franchise law, real estate and construction law, civil litigation and criminal defense.
QUICK FIX, a watch and jewelry repair and retail store, has opened a location at Franklin Park Mall. Owners are Tito Torres and Anna Coulter. Torres has more than 20 years of experience in diamond setting and jewelry manufacturing.
TRANSACTIONS:
Programmable Control Services Inc., 10003 N. Division, has joined a newly formed national group, Control System Integrators Association. The association is offering manufacturers and material processors a free referral service.
ELECTED:
Richard Algeo partner in the law firm of Algeo & Clarke, has been elected chair-elect of the Washington State Bar Association Tax Section for 1995-1996. Algeo is an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University School of Law.
Matt Alton of Alton’s Tire and Automotive Centers has assumed duties as president of the Washington State Tire Dealers Association, a trade group that tries to educate legislators about the role of tire dealers in providing a safe product for the consumer.

The Spokane Area Economic Development Council’s (EDC) KEDC NEWS video has received a Telly Award. The video was one of 8,600 entries in the competition. The KEDC NEWS video, produced by Lon Gibby Productions Inc., features a simulated newscast format for presenting the progress of the EDC over the 1994 business year.
Camp World of Cars has received an award for the Highest Level Customer Satisfaction Index of all Subaru dealers in their competitive group within a ninestate Western Region.
