Bonner Library Seeking Trustees

The East Bonner County Library District is searching for candidates to fill two vacant board positions.

In the last two weeks, two board members have resigned. Helen Thompson gave up her seat days after fellow trustee Florence Carter was ousted by voters. On Tuesday, Joe Shellenberger also resigned, citing personal reasons.

Those interested in filling the posts can submit a letter to Library Director James Murray. The board is especially interested in candidates that live outside the Sandpoint city limits.

The library board has 90 days to appoint two new members. The new trustees will serve until next June when an election will be held.
